Why I Like a Big PHOT A/S

This 13-minute public video discusses the pending shareholder vote on Friday by GrowLife Shareholders to raise the Authorized Shares to 3 billion from 1 billion. Here is what is covered:

  • What is the meaning of Authorized Shares, Outstanding Shares and the Float?
  • Why is PHOT doing this?
  • What will happen to the O/S?
  • Will the price fall if the A/S increases?
  • How can I learn more?

Bottom-line:  There is too much concern about the increase in the A/S.  Like Rob Hunt said on our webinar on 12/16, dilution can be compared to cholesterol:  There is good cholesterol and bad cholesterol.  In this case, I expect that management, which has a large equity exposure, will be wise in how it uses shares to build the business.  Vote yes for a 2015 potential move to the NASDAQ.  Vote no if you are happy with a penny stock forever.
